Hutte 102 HBR (Data)
The Hutte rigs were predominantly produced to work in the piling industry but these low headroom rigs which can work on umbilical leads at 20m from the power pack have proven their worth to the geotechnical industry, The rig is great for internal and low headroom works where auger drilling in large diameters is required for high quality large well installations.
As with all of Tor Drillings rigs the unit has a full interlocking safety guard system including kill switches and comes site ready for any site with a Chalwyn valve and spark arrestor fitted as standard.
Drilling depth’s for this machine vary depending on Geology, Bore diameter and the Method in use, but generally the unit is used for boreholes up to 30m but has drilled over 80m depth using 200mm solid stem augers
The rig stats for access:
Rig weight = 3.5 tons /Power pack weight 2.25 tons
Access Width = 1.4m / Access Height Mast Down = 2.4m
Operational Height is adjustable: Full Height = 3.350m / Low 2.350m
Torque 4,250Nm – 10,000Nm
Solid stem and Hollow stem augers (sometimes called cased auger) can be used on this machine up to 350mm OD
Drilling & Casing
Various sizes of casing and drilling systems can be used on this unit up to 350mm
Once drilling is complete in a size and method agreed the created bore can simply be backfilled or installed with a vast array of ground monitoring instruments as required.
Air, Air mist or Water but Mud’s and Polymer flushes can also be used to suit your requirements however the rig is predominantly used as an auger machine
